The steel mesh scrap metal shredder is an advanced waste metal crushing and processing equipment. The complete set of equipment includes feeding conveyors, metal scrap crushers, discharge conveyors, magnetic separators, control cabinets, etc. For larger materials such as color steel tiles, large oil drums, scrapped car shells, etc., a double-shaft metal shredder can be added before crushing to pre-shred them into small pieces, thus improving crushing efficiency. By combining shredding, crushing, and sorting systems, a complete scrap metal crushing production line is formed to automatically process materials, improve material processing efficiency, and produce clean, pure, and high-density scrap metal fragments.
The scrap metal is squeezed, sheared, and shredded into evenly sized pieces by the two rows of counter-rotating cutter shafts of the double-shaft metal shredder. Then it is fed into the metal scrap crusher through a conveyor belt. In the crushing chamber, the high-speed rotating hammers impact the scrap metal, causing the paint, plastic, and other impurities on the surface to fall off and be crushed into granules. After being conveyed out of the discharge port, impurities and crushed scrap metal are separated by the magnetic separator, leaving behind pure scrap metal fragments on the conveyor. This process turns the scrap metal into granular form; hence the scrap metal shredder is also known as a metal shredder, metal ball making machine, metal briquetting machine, etc. It can systematically handle waste steel, waste aluminum, and other scrap metals, significantly improving the utilization rate of scrap metal, enhancing crushing efficiency, material purity, reducing losses, and increasing economic value.
